We are committed to shaping a climate resilient and equitable future for Los Angeles by increasing structural hardening through retrofits and roofing construction. Wildfire intensity and frequency has exploded to terrifying levels in recent years. The Camp & Woolsey fires in 2018 marked a new shift in disaster potential, alerting us to the systemic management shortcomings and lack of adequate structural protection in WUI zones. This would be all too true in 2025, the most devastating fire season in human history, that included the Bridge, Line, Mountain, Eaton, Sunset, & Palisades fires that pushed communities far beyond their ability to cope at an unprecedented scale. Future disastrous wildfires in LA are inevitable. Just as well, Climate Change is raising temperatures to new extremes, further increasing daunting electricity costs and risk of electrical blackouts. We believe that Cool Roofs, Noncombustible Gutter Systems, Enclosed Eaves, and Roofline Sprinkler Systems are the solution.
